Writing about what you love and even more so writing about who you are is a hard undertaking. So this page is probably the hardest part of the website. So bear with me as I grapple with why I’m obsessed with an art form that’s unforgiving and unfortunately pretty dang pricey.

I kinda fell headfirst into photography, like any passion or love, you never really plan it or foresee the different ways you might like something. It evolves over time and slowly takes over all of your waking thoughts.

I had the idea for Darkroom Design in 2022 while living in Denver Colorado. I began acquiring materials and equipment while attending Red Rocks Community College then put together the darkroom over the last few years in Wilmington DE.
